Leakproof Bag Science Experiment

Materials:

• 1 plastic snack baggie

• Water

• Sharp pencils

Procedure:

• Fill the baggie about 3⁄4 full of water and seal it shut.

• Sharpen your pencils.

• Using one hand, hold the baggie upright near the zipper.

• With your other hand, quickly push the pencil through the bag until it comes out the other side.

• What happens to the water inside?

• Repeat with other pencils.
