Primary French Picture Book Series

Below are great picture books for primary classroom libraries. Thanks for all your great suggestions! Since these are part of a series, I have only included an image for one of the books so look up the authors to find the full list in that series.

There are some recommendations that are authors that don’t necessarily have a series with the same characters but their stories follow a similar format and use the same illustrators which creates familiarity for students. This includes: Rachel Bright, Elise Gravel, Peter H. Reynolds, Tom Percival, Robert Munsch, Jory John, Todd Parr, Laura Numeroff, Aaron Blabey, Katy Hudson and les contes réinventés.
